Only Humans

Privacy

Last updated 26 August 2026

The short version

Only Humans is private by default. We ask for detailed, sometimes sensitive information about your work and what you want next, and we do not pass any of it to the other side without asking you first.

  • What you tell us about compensation as a candidate is never shown to an employer. We use it only to judge whether an opportunity is financially realistic for you.
  • What an employer discloses about compensation is shared with people they might match with, so nobody is asked to express interest in the dark.
  • An employer’s private explanation of why a role exists is not shown to candidates unless the employer agrees to share it.
  • We never publish anything you write, and we don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.

Who we are

Only Humans is operated by TurboSource, Inc., 8401 Mayland Drive #7190, Richmond, Virginia 23294, USA. If you have a question about anything on this page, write to legal@turbosource.ai or call +1-812-565-2330.

What we collect

If you tell us you’re open to opportunities, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, and LinkedIn profile; what you write about your accomplishments, what you’d like to do next, where and how you can work, what compensation would make an opportunity worth considering, and anything else you tell us could make or break a match. You may optionally upload a resume.

If you’re hiring, we collect your name, mobile number, work email, and company; what you write about the outcomes you need, why the role exists, how and where the person will work, the compensation you’re offering, and anything else that could make or break a match. You may optionally give us a job posting URL, a role title, and a scheduling link.

When you submit either form, we also record the exact wording of the consent statements you agreed to, the date and time, the IP address the submission came from, and your browser’s user agent. We keep this as evidence of consent — particularly for text messages — rather than for any marketing purpose.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or session recording. The only cookie Only Humans sets is one that lets our own team sign in to our internal tools. We do use product analytics, and it records counts of events like “a form was started” without attributing them to you as an individual. To work out where our forms are confusing, those counts include which field an answer was rejected on, which field someone was in when they left, and roughly how long an answer was — never the words themselves. If you reach us from an advertisement or a shared link, we record which campaign it was, attached to that count and not to you.

What we do with it

We use what you write to look for pairings where what one person has demonstrably accomplished lines up with what an organisation needs accomplished, and to contact you about those pairings. That is the whole purpose. We don’t use your information to build a profile for advertising, and we don’t use it to train any AI model.

How AI is used, and what it is given

We use Anthropic’s Claude models to reason about whether a person and an opportunity are worth introducing. Some specifics matter:

  • Your contact details are never sent to the model. Not your name, not your phone number, not your email, not your LinkedIn URL. The matching doesn’t need them.
  • Your compensation expectations are withheld from the first, broad pass entirely. They are included only in the detailed evaluation of a specific opportunity, explicitly marked private, with an instruction never to repeat any figure in the output. We also automatically strip such figures from what we store, as a second line of defence.
  • An AI never decides anything on its own. It proposes; a person on our team reads the result and decides whether to raise it with you; and you decide whether you want to talk to anyone.
  • Protected characteristics play no part in matching. The model is instructed to disregard race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, pregnancy or parental status, age, disability, health, veteran status and the like — and to ignore the things that stand in for them, such as a graduation year, a career break, or a name. A gap in your history is not treated as evidence of anything. Work authorization is weighed only as the practical matter you and an employer each describe.

Anthropic processes this text on our behalf as a service provider and does not use it to train its models.

What we share, and when

We do not share what you write with the other side of a potential match without your permission. In practice that means we describe an opportunity to you, or describe your background to an employer in general terms, and ask whether you want to go further. Only if both sides say yes do we introduce you and pass along contact details.

Beyond that, we share information only with:

  • Service providers who run the software — see below — under contracts that limit what they may do with it.
  • Anyone we’re legally required to share it with, such as in response to a valid legal demand.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Who else touches your information

  • Supabase — stores our database and any resume you upload.
  • Vercel — hosts and serves the website.
  • Anthropic — provides the AI reasoning described above.
  • PostHog — aggregate usage counts, with no identifier that would let us tell two visitors apart.

Information is stored in the United States. If you are outside that region, submitting the form means your information is transferred there.

Text messages

If you ask us to, we’ll text you when we find something worth considering. Messages are sent by a person on our team, not automatically, and they are about potential matches — not marketing. Message frequency varies and will usually be low. Message and data rates may apply.

You can stop them at any time by replying STOP, or by emailing legal@turbosource.ai. We’ll confirm and stop. We don’t share your phone number with an employer without your permission.

How long we keep it, and how to get it removed

We keep what you submit for as long as you might plausibly want to hear from us, and we review it periodically. Because this is an early experiment we haven’t set a fixed retention schedule yet; when we do, we’ll say so here.

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email legal@turbosource.ai and we’ll do it — deletion is handled by a person, so allow a few days. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; tell us and we’ll honour them.

Security

Your information travels over encrypted connections and is stored encrypted at rest by our infrastructure providers. Our database is configured to refuse public read access entirely — nothing is readable from the browser — and resumes live in a private store that only our team can open, through links that expire after a few minutes. Access is limited to people who need it.

No system is perfectly secure, and we won’t pretend otherwise. If you believe something has gone wrong, please tell us at legal@turbosource.ai.

Children

Only Humans is for people old enough to work. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant and we have a way to reach you, we’ll tell you directly rather than relying on you to notice.
